Meet your team
Performance Coach, PTA
Hi, I'm Rene and I am so excited to be able to work with you all as you train to be the best that you can be. To start things off, I thought I would just share a little about myself and why I love training others! “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps” Proverbs 16:9. Having a passion for sports and exercise, I enrolled at Fresno State to obtain my bachelors in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. I have always been an athlete and truly found a love for sports and the amazing capabilities of the human body. Prior to graduating, the Lord led me to Selma Physical Therapy where my passion grew and was directed towards injury prevention and rehabilitation. Having completed my BS in Exercise Science I set my eyes on physical therapy as God guided towards becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Having completed my schooling, I am now training individuals to maximize their efforts towards reaching their full potential.
Martin Leesch, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Hello, I'm Marty and I'm so excited to get to tell you a little bit about myself so that we can be better acquainted. I was born in the swamps of Georgia where I trained for 7 years as a student in Orthopedic Physical Therapy before moving to California in 2004. I quickly became addicted to snowboarding while practicing as a Physical Therapy Assistant. My desire to perform better on the slopes drove me to seek more intense and creative training during the week: Ballet! I have danced professionally for a number of years, but it was actually snowboarding that called me back to ballet. This lead to a more recent endeavor of injury prevention and rapid recovery for athletes and performing artists! During this time, I decided that to better serve my clients, I should return to school to obtain my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. I feel truly blessed! Now, I have the opportunity to train Doctoral Interns in Physical Therapy, treat wonderful clients, and enjoy Snowboarding and Ballet.
Peter Erickson, DPT
Hello, I'm Peter and I am really looking forward to helping you. I truly enjoy seeing how God is growing our faith and teaching us to appreciate His gifts. As our team consultant, I will be providing guidance to our coaching team and athletes who are looking to level up quickly. I have invested nearly 25 years in biomechanical analysis and identifying hidden limiting factors for performance athletes of all levels - from Olympic competitors to MLB players, to 5th graders trying to improve their game. It truly is my joy to make coaching and education fun. I absolutely love helping people develop and grow beyond their expectations. Helping an athlete achieve an outstanding season or personal best is fun - but what really inspires me is to help people recognize their gifts and build dreams that change the world - that gets me so pumped!!
